Couple CLASH
Conflict, Love, Attitudes, Stress & Hardships
Deakin University’s SoAR Lab are inviting couples to take part in this 12-month longitudinal study investigating what makes some couples clash and others thrive.
We are seeking couples in same-sex and heterosexual relationships to participate in this study. Complete two video-recorded communication tasks and five online surveys over 12-months and you will receive access to an online self-directed couple therapy program, relationship enrichment resources, and a $100 gift voucher. Or, there’s also an option to just complete the five surveys.
Understanding Sexual Arousal in Romantic Relationships

Deakin University’s SoAR Lab are looking for individuals to take part in a study examining how sexual arousal influences relationship functioning over time.
Participants will complete 3 online surveys over a 2-month period. Each survey will take about 20 minutes to complete, and will include questions about sensitive topics such as your sex life, pornography use, evaluations of your partner and relationship, and a variety of positive and negative relationship behaviours that you may engage in, including aggression.
In recognition of your time, by completing all 3 surveys you will enter a draw to win one of three $200 gift cards (terms and conditions apply – these are provided during the screening process).
Relationship Resilience and Vulnerability during COVID-19

This project is a five-month longitudinal study looking at the ways in which circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic are shaping people’s relationships with their romantic partners.
We are seeking individuals currently in a romantic relationship to take part in a confidential online study. Complete one online survey per fortnight and you will receive tips for enriching your relationship and go in the running to win one of five $500 gift vouchers.

We are conducting a study to learn about the ups and downs that can occur in romantic relationships.
We are seeking individuals currently in a romantic relationship to take part in a confidential online study. Complete one survey per week for 8-weeks and receive evidence-based tips for improving your relationship written by psychologists and experts in relationship research.
